General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS)  is  a  business unit  of  General Dynamics Corporation which conducts its  business through European operating sites located in Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Denmark and the  Czech  Republic. With more than 2,500  highly skilled technical employees, GDELS companies design, test, deliver and maintain wheeled and tracked vehicles, amphibious bridge and ferry systems, as well as repair, maintenance and servicing of military vehicles “made in Europe”.


GDELS focuses its attention on the development of armored vehicles, bridge solutions and artillery systems for their entire life cycle: from concept assessment and system design to product evaluation and validation of customer requirements, ensuring that its products remain at the leading edge of technology and quality.


With R&D locations in Austria, Germany, Spain and Switzerland and with its shared Survivability Center of Excellence.


(SCoE), GDELS has a leading position in protected mobility, bridging equipment and artillery systems. Robust System Engineering processes, highly qualified expert personnel, the latest modelling and simulation tools and specialized testing facilities enable GDELS to design, verify and validate its developments to customers all over the world.


The Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) programs of GDELS are customized to the individual requirements of the customer-specific mission profile. The customer receives a full ILS spectrum of product support to fulfill missions and tasks either at home base or abroad with the specific aim of having a comprehensive partnership.


In addition to our own vehicles, we are also a certified repair and maintenance business for other military vehicles.
