CEFA is a family-owned and independent French industrial company, fully dedicated for more than 50 years to develop, manufacture and deliver products and services to the armed and security forces. CEFA is organized around a main activity for the benefit of military combat engineers, and more particularly in the field of gap crossing.


The main site is located at Soultz-sous-Forêts in the North-East of France and the team composed of high-skilled technicians and engineers, provide to the customers the most efficient products and services including R&D, engineering, prototype and serial production as well as Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities.


CEFA has developed and produced the amphibious bridges so-called EFA delivered to the French Army for wet gap crossing operations. The EFA was also exported to the UAE, and CEFA set-up a branch located in Abu Dhabi to ensure the maintenance of the EFA units operated by the UAE Army. In addition to the EFA, CEFA, with the Steel Ribbon Bridge (SRB), proposes to the customer the latest generation of modular floating bridge offering the highest performances on the market.

CEFA has widened the range of its products and activities and now, CEFA is positioning itself in the fields of mechanical demining as well as equipments dedicated to EOD and C-IED special units.
