HazMET 100 Advantages

OSi’s HazMET100 is designed to be quickly and easily deployed for use during environmental emergencies.

The HazMET100 is an advanced Portable Automated Weather Station built around the 2100-138 Multi-parameter Meteorological Sensor. The low power requirements of the HazMET100 make it well-suited for portable battery- and solar-powered applications. The system is designed for fast setup anywhere, deployable in less than five minutes without requiring any extra tools.

The compact 2100-138 sensor incorporates built-in GPS and electronic compass. It measures and reports wind speed, wind direction (self-aligning to North—orientation of wind sensor to north is not required), temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure. Dew point is calculated.

Reports wind, temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure

EPA Cameo/Aloha data format standard

Deployable in under five minutes

Include OSi's Optional OWI-650 LP-WIVIS

Low-Power Weather & Visibility Sensor

The LP-WIVIS™ is a fully automated instrument that provides accurate visibility, present weather and precipitation measurements. The sensor detects and quantifies rain, snow, drizzle, freezing and mixed precipitation conditions. It is designed for year-round continuous operation in all climates from Antarctica to tropical rain forests.

The LP-WIVIS uses an all digital signal processing (DSP) for no-drift, high-accuracy results. OSi’s patented environmentally adaptive algorithms use artificial-intelligence technology derived from over 25 years experience and over 200 million field hours of real-world data from our sensors installed globally to create most advanced and easily deployable weather sensor in the world.
