The inaugural Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre, New Cairo from 3-5 December 2018. The event is held under the patronage of His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of The Arab Republic of Egypt, The Supreme Commander of The Egyptian Armed Forces and is fully supported by the Egyptian Armed Forces. 

EDEX is Egypt’s first tri-service defence exhibition and presents a new opportunity for industry leading companies to demonstrate the latest military and security technology, equipment and systems across land, sea & air. 

With over 1.3 million military personnel, as the largest military power in Africa and one of the leading forces worldwide Egypt is the ideal setting for a large-scale event for the sector. In addition, Egypt has historically maintained continuous investment in the latest weaponry as a defence strategy and has strengthened national production lines across a range of military complexes. 

EDEX will attract a local and international audience of key decision-makers from government, Army, Navy, Air Force and the defence industry. 

The exhibition will feature over 300 companies showcasing their latest technologies and innovations, and with over 10,000 visitors expected the event will offer countless networking opportunities too.

Alongside the exhibition, EDEX will include a Technical Conference. On day 1 and 2, the Technical Conference will discuss practical topics for defence and associated sectors with each stream covering an important topic area.
