HBB Series

Smiths Interconnect’s HBB connectors are suitable for applications requiring the transmission of high currents (up to 500A) including aerospace, defense, aviation, transportation, industrial, auto/EV, alternative energy, and oil & gas markets. Hypertac® hyperboloid contact technology guarantees high reliability under harsh environmental conditions.

Robust aluminum metal shell fully sealed to IP67 and featuring 360° EMI/RFI shielding

Snaptac® Overview

Smiths Interconnect's SnapTac® Series is a lightweight, robust, quick release miniature connector, featuring IP67 sealing and EMI shielding. It provides a reliable and robust connector system ideal for use in environments or where fast and easy mating/demating is required.

Available Geometries

Snaptac connectors are available in both circular (7-, 13-, and 19-) and rectangular (12-, 21, and 30-) way geometries. Plugs are available in two versions, with and without over-moulding. A 90° over-moulded version is also available for the circular connector.

Thermopad®

Smiths Interconnect’s Thermopad® family of temperature variable chip attenuators provide unparalleled gain compensation in Ku, K, and Ka bands in an easy to implement totally passive wire-bondable package. Thermopad® products are designed to offer a highly reliable method to offset signal strength fluctuation due to changes in temperature – an issue that affects all RF and microwave systems.
