MF/HF antennas for navy forces,
authorities and commercial ships
MF/HF antennas by ELNA are distinguished by outstanding quality for professional users. The rugged antennas (receiving/transceiving) withstand marine conditions and meet the requirements of military / naval forces, authorities and commercial ships globally.
Key features of our MF/HF antennas
- Outstanding performance for long-range communication via medium / high frequency (0.1- 30 MHz)
- Reliable and virtually maintenance-free
- Space-saving and freestanding
- Up to 14 meters in height (and more in special projects)
- Extremely robust
- Withstand wind speeds of up to 200 km/h
- made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic
- Individual color coating available (standards are RAL 7035 / RAL 7000)
- Various types available, matching your project
Non-directional beacons / NDB antennas
- Non-directional beacons by ELNA enable reliable orientation and radio direction finding even in demanding terrain for pilots as well as seafarers. ELNA NDB antennas are installed e.g. on airports, offshore platforms and heliports. The beacons are equipped with a coil to match the desired frequency range (typically between 180 to 580 kHz). Antenna feeding is possible both internally (through the base) or externally. Our mast antennas are self-supporting and hence do not need costly and spacious guys or stands and can be installed on room limited sites. Our NDB antennas come in two heights (14.5m and 11.5m).

Extremely durable rod and mast antennas
Even under very harsh conditions, our receiving and transceiving antennas are reliable and virtually maintenance-free. The lightweight antennas exhibit outstanding resilience against harsh conditions (ice, wind and fouling). The ELNA antennas are even largely resistant against salt water, oils and chemicals and can be cleaned with sweet water or light soapy water. All antennas and accessories are tried and tested for decades and quality is strictly managed throughout the production process.
Installation and perfectly matched accessories
Thanks to their superior design, ELNA antennas exhibit very slight deflection, are simple to install and require minimal space. Mounts, bases and tilting devices allow for a safe and easy handling of the antennas. The antennas can be easily tilted when adding our respective joints and devices. High-quality lead-in, strain and stand-off insulators are available to prevent unwanted voltage flows. For smaller antennas, antenna matching transformers are available in order to connect common coaxial cables.
